We are recruiting procurement and Contract managers:
Lloyds are now looking for enthusiastic Contract Managers to join the team based in our London and Hamburg offices, but working from home is also possible for the right candidates.
Working as a pivotal part of the team and as part of the commercial team, you will primarily be responsible for writing tenders for offshore wind projects world-wide, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and contractors through responding to enquiries, active follow-ups and identifying opportunities for Lloyds Consulting.
As part of the Lloyds commercial team you will be involved in tendering for a variety of projects including offshore renewables, offshore power cables, and onshore civil engineering projects.
Your key responsibilities will include the review of client provided Invitations to Tender (ITT) and using your technical and commercial knowledge to plan Bids by engaging relevant internal stakeholders, assigning relevant resources, identifying areas of innovation, preparing schedules, preparing prices, identifying project risks, writing the tender documents and liaising with clients.
With the rapid growth in offshore windfarm developments you will become an integral part of Lloyd’s commercial team with the opportunity to work with some key clients.
This job is for you if:
You are someone who enjoys the detailed work of tender production;
You come from a renewable energy or technical purchasing background with a good understanding of the principles of commercial tendering;
You have a commercial, project management or procurement background in a related discipline.
Who you’ll be working with:
You will be directly supported by the commercial manager. Due to the varying nature of The business, this role will provide you the opportunity to work with colleagues from across the world.
Who we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Degree in Engineering or MBA or relevant equivalent commercial, management or procurement experience;
- Skilled problem solver with:
- excellent verbal and written communication
- a methodical common sense approach,attention to detail
- exceptional inter-personal and communication skills;
- Strong numeracy skills with good Microsoft Office and SAP capabilities;
- Experience of producing written deliverables.
Desirable:
- Experience writing contracts and cost reports and forecasts;
- Ability to think outside the box and design innovative solutions and processes;
- Business development negotiation experience.
